As my time in China came to a close, I had the sinking feeling that dark days lay ahead - it had been such an unexpected blast from start to finish with many adventures along the way. I would have loved to have stayed for longer, but commitments in the UK were stacking up and life was about to change - some for the good, some for the worse.
Apocalypse Ni Hao chronicles the last few weeks of this insane assignment - again, the mix of the old world with the new and the fear of the unknown waiting for me upon my return.
